Patrick is learning about different kinds of sentences, and this week is asking sentences. His assignment was to write 3 asking sentences, and I was helping him. These were the three:
1. Why in the past were there pirates?
2. Where did dinosaurs live?
3. What kind of sounds do Pandas make?
These are very interesting questions, but the last one especially needs some explaining. His favorite animal is the Panda, and we don't often hear them making sounds, but this is what the kids say for the Panda:
"Smith, smith!"
I was scratching my head for a while about that one, until I told Tommy. Guess who told them that is what Pandas say??
