SNOW!

The east coast got an amazing Valentine's snowstorm which gave us about a foot of snow!  The kids were home for 5 days, including the already scheduled Monday off.

 This is our sliding door on our deck.  Lots of drifting snow!

 There is a road between those mailboxes.

 My sweet Emma was the first one to go out and shovel!

 We had some ice after the snow, so the top layer was frozen and made everything so stiff.  

The good news is that the kids do not have to make up any days yet for school.  Let's just see how it goes for the rest of winter.  We know what that groundhog said......
